The NO.13 is a single country light roast filter blend that is always going to be highlighted by bright, fruity sweetness. Ethiopian coffees are renowned for its clean acidity with lots of higher-end flavours such as stone fruit, berries, and tea-like qualities. The NO.13 is offered as a taste breaker for those who are used to our blends that are more on the approachable side.
The NO.13 is currently a single country blend that makes use of two different Ethiopian coffees. The first is a washed Sidamo from Guji. This coffee features a lot of red fruit with present acidity throughout that finishes with sweetened cocoa. The second is a natural processed Ethiopian from Gedeo, Yirgacheffe. This one has wonderful dark, ripe fruity aromas when ground. In the cup, you can expect these fruity aromas to carry over in the form of stone fruit and berry notes. It also has jasmine tea properties. This combination of Ethiopian coffees allows the NO.13 to shine as a brighter alternative to our consistent line-up that usually highlights sweeter, approachable coffees.
