Compact and reliable, The X 54 is a multipurpose grinder that can range through pour over - down to espresso to give you flexible options for your favourite home  brew. The Magnetic attached grounds tray , 500 g hopper, excellent shut off valve on the collar , horizontally aligned 54 mm  burrs with step- less adjustment are harnessed by a solid and sturdy motor designed to work at a lower 1050 RPM yo keep coffee cool while grinding. 

Operating at a low decibel level of 70, the X 54, the Step less adjustment ranges from 0-35 but can be further calibrated tighter to give emphasis on Espresso Brewing. 

The programmability of the grinder is extensive with a simple push and turn button on the right hand side of the display. The front display can be calibrated up to four different programming portions with great flexibility in the range of grinding time.  You may also increase your timing by 1/10th of a second when programming for tremendous accuracy. 

For Activation of the grinding process there’s a manual start/stop button located on left  hand of the display or You can program deep portafilter switch for automatic grinding using portafilter allowing the user handsfree operation.  The X54 by Mahlkonig offers a start stop operation through the program cycle where espresso lovers get the opportunity to pause through the Cycle  to level off the coffee before finalizing the dose.

The removable chute again proves signature to Mahlkonig’s latest grinder interactions for easy cleaning. The flexibility of the X54 is apparent  with removable portafilter holder and the Grinder includes a stainless steel cup cash for pour over and filter coffee. 

For Grind retention, the X54 has reasonably low grind Retention and operate much better with a minimum  of a half to a full 500 g hopper.  The verse that can easily be removed with a Torx head screwdriver for easy and routine cleaning .
